Areas I deal with

I believe that the most important part of counselling is finding someone you feel comfortable opening up to, so I welcome enquires from anyone, regardless of what you're struggling with.  However, you might find it useful to know that I have specific experience in the following areas:

Anxiety, Depression, Loss, Self-Esteem, Anger

Anxiety, depression, anger, or losing someone can leave us feeling hopeless, alone, overwhelmed, brokenand trapped in a pit.  The thought of feeling any different can sometimes seem impossible, but you don't have to struggle alone. Talking about it can help you feel less consumed, give you time to process/understand your thoughts, and find a way forward.

Relationships

Relationships can be tough to navigate, full of confusing emotions, like excitement, love, despair, uncertainty, and insecurity.  Understanding and managing these feelings can sometimes feel messy.

Talking things through with someone impartial can help provide a fresh perspective, help you to understand your communication and attachment habits, build healthy boundaries, and work on creating more fulfilling relationships.

I also have experience with kink, and ethically non-monogamous relationships.

Trauma, Abuse, and PTSD

Trauma and abuse can have a huge impact on our lives, causing intense anxiety, depressionisolationsuicidal feelings, and self-defeating thought processes.  Although these experiences mark us deeply, counselling can provide you with a safe space to talk it through, and help create a more positive outlook.

LGBTQ+

I'm also passionate about working with the LGBTQ+ community.  Whether you want to explore your identity, or just talk to someone who's informed, I offer a space where you can be completely yourself.

Part of my own personal growth has involved embracing a more fluid self-image, which has been difficult at times, especially in a world filled with black & white labels, stigma, and judgments.

Neurodiversity

Navigating a world where you're made to feel 'alienated' or 'less than' can be incredibly isolating and demoralising, especially if the people around you don't really understand.

Having a calm space, where there's no pressure to be anything other than yourself can help you organise your thoughts, decompress, be seen, and feel understood.

Life Changes

Counselling can be a useful space to tackle a big decisionmap out the future, make personal changesand feel supported through challenging life transitions.

I also embrace more unconventional life choices, and am very passionate about helping you discover true meaning and authenticity in your life, despite what you're told is "normal".
